The Breax - Breax Over 3 Review

In this day and age where music is thrown together in the hopes of getting a single on radio or making millions of dollars, it's good to find something refreshing.  Something you can put on and actually listen to that not only gets you hype, but has a positive message as well.  If you are looking for that project, then just check out "Breax Over 3" by The Breax and DJ Wade-O.  I first learned of The Breax from an introduction to them by Fonzworth Bentley at this past years South By Southwest music festival.  I ended up tagging along with them, specifically Ruslan from The Breax, for the next day.  He gave me a copy of "Breax Over" and since then I have been hooked.  It is rare that you find young men in hip hop, that number 1 can rap well and number 2 actually put out a project with a positive message.
"Breax Over 3" features The Breax rapping over a few familiar beats, but also some original tracks as well.  The first track on the project "Kings Dream" is a straight lyrical barrage of knowledge.  The track is infectious and is the perfect song to start the musicality of the project.  "Clap Your Hands" feat. Dmaub sounds like a track that any B Boy needs to start breaking too.  It also features an excellent string accompaniment that makes this track stand out.  Not too mention it also sounds like a club banger.  "Breax Society"feat. High Society is a nice groove track that is mellow and fun all at the same time.  It's the perfect blend from the clubby sound of "Clap Your Hands" to my personal favorite song on the project "All My Friends".  The message on "All My Friends" feat. Jekob Washington is a message that gets skipped over a lot in hip hop.  They way they focus on marriage and stability makes any single person want to go on a date right now.  Another great topic is on the track "Fathers".  There are plenty of stories about single mothers and their struggles, but the single fathers usually get skipped over.  Now their story can be told.  Another hot track is "Charisma" featuring Fonzworth Bentley.  Words can't describe this record.  But the visual below can.

So how much are you willing to pay for a project like this?  $5?  $10?  $11.99?  Well, guess what?  You can get it for absolutely free HERE.  I give this project two thumbs up and have definitely become a fan and supporter of this group.  I would highly suggest giving this project a listen and feel the vibe that I and others are feeling about The Breax.  You can check out their site, www.thebreax.com, for more information on them and you can also follow them on twitter at @theBREAX.
