Best ALBUM of the Summer (thus far)

I know the title of this article is a bold statement, but I stand by it fully.  Bad Meets Evil is the pairing of Eminem and Royce Da 5'9".  This album is INCREDIBLE.  If you're looking for lyrics and a "hip hop" album, then this is something you need to add to your collection.  Think of the first time you hear "The Marshall Mathers LP".  Now think of that updated to 2011 but better.  That is what this Bad Meets Evil "Hell: The Sequel" EP is.
The track "Lighters" with Bruno Mars is a great "radio/safe" record.  I can see this one making waves on the charts.  But the album as a whole is semi dark with gritty humor mixed in.  Typical Eminem fashion.  Royce holds his own on the EP as well.  The mass public may not know who Royce Da 5'9" is but he is one of the most respected rappers in the business and this pairing is incredible.  "I'm On Everything" samples segments from a Mike Epps stand up about drugs and todays youth.  But the way Em and Royce flip it and rap about drugs is classic.  I'm not a drug user at all and I can get the humor and appreciate the record.  "Fast Lane" is another great track that has perfect production and both rappers ride the beat seamlessly.
If you want a record that mixes great production and lyrics and is "hip hop" then this is the perfect album.  Mark my words this is THE album of the summer.  A classic.
